The IFM family of instruments sum pulses at the inputs or detect the current status of binary signals and forward the data using RS-485.
IFM P01: pulse counter device that is suitable for accommodating various measurement instruments that are equipped with pulse outputs. The device stores the counted pulses!
IFM P02: sensor for binary signals, such as state of relays (open/closed). Main use of the device is to transfer data of the state of consumers (on/off) in energy counting systems and maxlimiters.

If voltage reappears inside the preset limit of blackout, the unit will turn the motor on. If voltage is not present within the limit, the unit will not turn the starter magnetic switch on.
In the event of a brief voltage outage, the unit will shut down the motor it is supervising. It will reclose only if the motor had been turned on with the magnetic switch and the duration of the blackout did not exceed the preset time of t 1b. Reclosing the motor after voltage is back can be delayed with t 2b time, programmable via front panel buttons. The purpose of the delay is to prevent several MVA units from reclosing at once, thus preventing the appearance of the reclosing transient on all units at once. MVA units also feature an inhibit input to impede reclosing.

The 2ISZ-2 unit functions to separate independent circuits operating on 220V DC that are signalling onto a common main ring.
If any of the observed circuits indicates malfunction, the corresponding circuit of the unit will give voltage to the ring main signalling the error. The 2ISZ-2 will also prevent other circuits connected to the main from receiving voltage from the main.

Transparent (-S): this version allows peripheral devices with RS-XXX serial line to be controlled from a computer as if they were connected via the serial port. For the unit to be fully operational, RealPort virtual COM port driver has to be installed. (supplied with the unit). - Programmable (-C)
Programmable (-C): with the help of the internal microprocessor the RSE-C can function as a computer and can perform significant automatisation functions, such as data collection. There may be several units connected in a LAN network, all connected to numerous measurement instruments. This allows a computer to query up to several dozen measurement peripheries through the RSE-C, while utilising the high speed of LAN networks. Connectivity is best with intelligent devices manufactured by VERTESZ.
